OVERVIEW

Promoting local art was identified as a priority goal in the Vine Neighborhood Plan. As part of implementation for the neighborhood plan, the Vine Neighborhood Association decided to install murals on their building at the corner of Vine and Westnedge. Two local artists were identified to paint the murals. One mural, painted by Trevor Grabill was located to the right of the Vine Neighborhood Association office and the other mural, painted by Ellen Nelson, was located to the right of Read and Write Kalamazoo (RAWK).
