Our Eastside resident feature is CJ Drenth, who has lived in the Eastside neighborhood for 31 years.

The Eastside neighborhood is located on the east side of Kalamazoo. Eastside is bordered by the Kalamazoo River to the west and the Kalamazoo County border to the east. The Eastside neighborhood is approximately one square mile in size.

Rockwell Park will be getting some improvements which started in August 2018 and are estimated to be completed by the end of the year. Improvements at Rockwell Park are based on input received from the community.

The Vine Neighborhood is the oldest and most central of the neighborhoods in Kalamazoo. It is south of downtown, east of Western Michigan University and west of Bronson Methodist Hospital. Vine neighborhood is known for many things; the college student population, the restaurants, the historic houses, as well as a vibrant community full of artists.
